She and her husband, real estate developer Milo Burdette, are actively involved in and support many Central Texas organizations including Helping Hand Home for Children, Austin Sunshine Camps, Real Estate Council of Austin, Church of the Good Shepherd, and the Longhorn Foundation. Carol is President of Helping Hand Home for Children and Board of Directors at KamuKama Foundation. They live in central Austin.
